Nytisha Davis is the esteemed CEO and Founder of Phillips Mobile Labs LLC, bringing over three decades of diverse and enriching professional experience to her role. Her journey commenced in Pennsylvania over 30 years ago, where she completed training as a Medical Assistant in 1992. Subsequently, she pursued higher education and achieved an associate degree through the Pharmacy Technician program.
Following the completion of the program, Nytisha dedicated herself to working in both hospital and retail pharmacies while simultaneously raising her three children. Returning to her hometown, she discovered a passion for the Behavioral Health field, where she served as a Behavioral Health Specialist (BHS) for several years before returning to the Phlebotomy field in 2011.
Nytisha's expertise flourished as she worked full-time as a mobile phlebotomist for one of the largest hospitals in Pennsylvania, serving nursing homes and "medically homebound" patients. Her commitment to healthcare extended to part-time roles as a home health aide, instilling in her the values of patience and kindness in patient care.
In addition, Nytisha contributed to the healthcare industry as an independent contractor, serving as a PARA Medical Examiner for life insurance companies. Her responsibilities included vital sign assessments, specimen collection, and gathering comprehensive medical history information for life insurance applications.
Her professional journey also led her to work within Patient Service Centers (PSC) in two different states, where she conducted venipuncture procedures for individuals of all ages. Her duties encompassed specimen collection, processing, and preparation for shipping, as well as conducting Biometric-wellness exams, pre-employment urine and blood collections, and participation in health fairs.
Currently, Nytisha is in the process of expanding her skill set, demonstrating a continuous commitment to professional development and the enhancement of her expertise in the healthcare industry.
My business is dedicated to the memory of my father, Joseph Phillips, who died of colon cancer in 2016. My father was a healthy man who always took care of his body. In 2013, he was diagnosed with colon cancer, and he fought it with everything he had. He never gave up and always maintained a positive attitude. He would patiently wait in the long lines at the PSC to have his bloodwork done. I was fortunate to care for him during the last days of his life, and this experience inspired me to create a business that would meet a need and help others.Â
